การทำเลสิกคืออะไร

เลสิก เป็นวิธีการรักษาอาการผิดปกติของสายตา อีกแบบหนึ่ง ทางการแพทย์ เรียกว่า Lasik (Laser in-Situ Keratomileusis) โดยวิธีที่ใช้ คือ ใช้เทคโนโลยี เลเซอร์ ในการรักษาสายตา

ซึ่งการทำเลสิก ก็เป็นการผ่าตัดอย่างหนึ่ง ซึ่งอาจจะมีผลข้างเคียงขึ้นได้ เพราะฉะนั้น คนไข้ควรเข้ารับการตรวจจากจักษุแพทย์ ก่อนเพื่อวินิจฉัยว่า สามารถใช้การทำเลสิกได้หรือไม่

การทำเลสิกสามารถรักษาอะไรได้บ้าง

โดยทั่วไป การทำเลสิก จะใช้ในการรักษา อาการ สายตาสั้น สายตายาว และสายตาเอียง โดยใช้วิธี ยิงลำแสงเลเซอร์ ด้วยเครื่อง Excimer Laser เป็นแสงที่มีพลังงานสูงมาก และมีความแม่นยำสูง เพื่อใช้ในการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปร่างของกระจกตา ให้เหมาะสมกับแสงที่จะเข้ามาโฟกัสพอดีที่จอประสาทตา จึงสามารถทำให้กลับมามองได้ชัดอีกครั้ง

ขั้นตอนการทำเลสิก

สำหรับขั้นตอนการทำเลสิก คือ เริ่มจากการผ่าตัดแยกชั้นกระจกตา และทำการเปิดกระจกตาค้างไว้ หลังจากนั้นจะใช้เลเซอร์ เพื่อปรับเปลี่ยนควางโค้งของกระจกตา แล้วจึงนำกระจกตาปิดกลับที่เดิม ซึ่งขั้นตอนการทำ อาจจะใช้เวลาประมาณ 15 นาที

ใครบ้างที่สามารถทำเลสิกได้

บุคคลทั่วไปที่มีปัญหาทางสายตา เช่น สายตาสั้น สายตายาว สายตาเอียง ที่มีปัญหาในการใส่แว่น หรือคอนแทคเลนส์ ที่มีกระจกตาหนาพอสมควร ถ้าหากคนไข้ มีกระจกตาที่บาง ทางแพทย์อาจจะไม่ให้ใช้การรักษาด้วยวิธีเลสิกได้ เพราะการทำเลลิก จะทำให้กระจกตาบางลง ซึ่งอาจจะทำให้มีปัญหาในภายหลังได้
